New AJAX Blogging Engine - Logahead

Chinese iPod knockoff At Alibaba! w/ pic


Not sure but I assume apple legal will be taking these sites down soon. The first one is an iPod with another brand photoshoped below the screen. The blue and white one at least stands a chance of not being an exact knockoff.

Safari Worm Fix

The current "Safari Worm" is actually a problem in how the Finder has access to the Terminal. I have tried this fix, it is simple to run and quite safe. Yes, it is true, these attacks are not something to get overly worried about, but at some point the Mac will have a successful attack. It does not hurt to be prepared.

Mac Attacks are HYPE

"...holes in Windows are routine ... These Mac "threats" are only news because of their novelty, not the threat level they pose". - Wired
This Wired article which uncovers the "storm in a teacup"-phenomena about Mac security-holes.

Yes, it is true, these attacks are not something to get worries about, but at some point the Mac will have a successful attack. If you would like to be prepared for the eventual attack here are my recommendations.

Safari Worm
The current "Safari Worm" is actually a problem in how the Finder has access to the Terminal (Talks to the Unix underbelly of OSX). There is a simple fix at this URL I have tried this is is simple to run and quite safe.
